Nice place but room was a bit too warm

Front desk folks were extremely nice! Great location and good amenities for a motel along the beach, and family friendly just a walk away from nearby pizza, coffee, and other food places. Only complaint; I wish the front desk informed us on how to work the thermostat and room heater. It was a warm May evening, and the heat was on low but it was on all night. I turned on the AC but I'm a light sleeper so I couldn't fall asleep. I turned off the AC Unit, and I finally just opened the windows and adjusted the opening to allow the room to vent, and then no problem. But we had to sleep with the window slightly open so I could hear outside a bit, but I eventually fell asleep. Other than that, everything else was good. I'd stay again. I think there'd be no issues in the winter with the heat; room seemed really well insulated.

Nice lakefront property on the last few yards of the California side of Lake Tahoe. Heated pool and awesome staff. Can walk to eat, and they have a price that is hard to beat. Will be staying here if we pass by again.
