Clean and new hotel. The room and view was great overall. Had a lot of construction going on a pool was closed when we visited. Also, one of the beds was very uncomfortable compared to the other bed in the room. One was sinking in on one side. The bedding was very thin sheet was just a single layer of flat sheet. Didn’t have the fitted sheet. Kept moving exposing the mattress cover.

The heater does not work in our hotel room. When we contacted the help desk and they told us to adjust the 3 possible settings there are. No matter how long we blasted the heater the temperature did not get warmer than 64 degrees F. We were automatically charged a snack fee for picking up one of the snacks from the snack bar but not actually consuming it. Apparently there is a sensor under the snacks. Hotel should waive the “resort fee” while it is still under construction. The hotel looks like a mess but guests are charged a daily resort fee.

Romulus room was very clean and fresh. Staff was super nice and efficient. Got a cocktail waitress in the casino quickly, won some money at roulette, kids swam at Harrah’s (little old but also clean with ample fresh white towels) there is super easy,

Room was, upon closer inspection, very dirty. Beds were ok. Casino was fairly quiet and even as such, wasn’t offered anything to drink and sat at a machine that ate my money for at least 10. mins. before I had to ask a service person to help me out. Okay if you’re not expecting a whole lot.
