This was the perfect place for a quick ski weekend. I definitely want to come back! It wasn’t the newest or fanciest but there was a cute fireplace in the lobby, everything felt clean and comfortable. The latte machine was exactly what I needed, and if it had been colder I definitely would’ve gone in the hot tub. Close to downtown Truckee and Palisades. For my budget it was 5 stars!

We've stayed at the Tahoe Donner Lodge twice for skiing at Sugar Bowl, and it's perfect. The rooms are just what we needed for a couple of nights on the slopes, the drive night to SB and to nearby restaurants is extremely convenient, and the included breakfast was delicious with many options. The staff was amazing, too! We'll be back next season for sure.

This was a great home base for our snowboarding weekend at Palisades / Alpine Meadows - just a 12-minute drive from the Palisades village parking lot (with no traffic - but you should expect traffic during peak commute hours). Friendly staff, very well-stocked continental breakfast and clean/comfy rooms. Although there are areas of the property that show it's age, it was reasonably well kept and very clean. We'll be back!

Hotel is overpriced and room nothing special . WiFi is generally not working . No working computer or printer for customers . Lifeless lobby . Rude about early check in send a message before check in you need to pay more if you want to come early . Staff not at desk before check in time . Get a better deal somewhere else !!

Me and my wife we stayed over the presidents day long weekend, everything was great except its so expensive, 400 bucks a night. Got to avoid long weekends. Not really value for money.
