Handy Location from the train station

Reception staff looked after our luggage as we came on the train a couple hours before check in. Staff were nice and friendly. Stayed in 412 only issue was very squeaky floorboard as u walked in and out of the bathroom presume it would be heard in room below.

I stayed in room 110 on this occasion which was quiet and situated at the back of the hotel. The bed was large and comfortable. Unfortunately, I was woken early by workmen on the street below. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious.

The bed is very comfy,my room was at the front its very noisy,the bathroom is small but its clean.no plugs sockets at the side of your beds for your phone.the location is very good.if you want to park there’s parking outside the hotel £14 for 24 hours.i would stay again but ask for a room at the back

In need of upgrade and not great value

The hotel is in need of some repairs. One of the lifts was out of order and the other lift had a completely broken mirror taped up with brown parcel tape. Not a great look when entering the hotel on our first impression. I understand it's a budget hotel, but the price was not all that budget either.

Clean and spacious room. Quite noisy as it was situated at the front of the hotel next to the main road. Reception based on the first floor which was unusual. Bed was comfortable. Drink making facilities available. Tried to check in an hour early, but was informed by the receptionist that I would have to pay £10 for an early check in, so I checked in later on in the evening.

This hotel has a drug problem

There were people walking around with drugs. A man asked me what drugs I was on and if he could have some. Another man asked if I could sell him some drugs and that I was off my head. I felt threatened by some of the residents who thought I eanted drugs from them.

The hotel was clean tidy and convenient for shops as in centre.Shower could do with being adjustable as dont want to wash hair everytime. Staff very friendly and helpful. .
