I have stayed at this hotel countless times through many years and always had such a good time. It was a fun choice as La Posada is too expensive and suffers from neglect. I haven’t been here in a few years and boy was I sorry to see that it has had no real upkeep for all this time. The maids do their best to keep it clean but the whole place needs to renovated as it’s really showing its age and neglect. Hardly anything works and there is never any hot water. The happy hour used to be fun and lively- with workers and truckers from all over the world… Now it’s basically a hotel for construction workers and I certainly don’t mind those hard working folks, but there’s something gone very wrong with this hotel. Our room was dark which is okay for us, but definitely not for any families and the playground is old and tired. We had to go buy a Roku for our room to watch anything- I’m serious. The furniture, decor and bathroom are so outdated I cannot truly guess the last time anything was updated. Forget about hot water or WiFi working well and the Happy Hour used to have hot dogs and unlimited nachos and sodas and plenty of beer if you want that. Not anymore. No coffee machines or blow dryers, only ice machine that works is in the “garden” part of the hotel that used to have a functioning volcano waterfall that was odd but very fun. Now it just sits there quietly dead. It’s truly sad as this used to be a fun and funky hotel on the border that our young family enjoyed quite a bit.

Another great stay.

I've stayed here several times and will continue to do. Its a older hotel but very well maintained and very clean. The ice machine was out of order. I'm sure it will be fixed soon. If your a coffee drinker like I'am be forewarned there is no coffeemakers in the room. Luckily my room was close to the lobby where it is available.

No remote for tv I drive a truck I don't have a TV in my truck so when I rent a room I would like to watch TV but that was not available because they have no remote and when I talk to him about it they gave me three different remotes and none of them worked
