Very unwelcoming check in . No customer service

Extremely disappointed starting with our arrival . No one behind the registration desk to greet us or offer any assistance. Our uber driver dropped us off at the Rush tower registration desk to find a sign saying CLOSED and then we had to sheep all out baggage to another tower bldg to find no live person to help us . We found an employee and asked for help and was told to go to a computer and sign in self. Again no one to welcome us or answer any questions we had. The computer said we would get a text when room was ready , when we asked another employee in the area she said it would be anytime 3 pm to 3 am. This whole experience was not warm or helpful. No managers on site were visible. Not used to ever have an experience when checking in at a hotel. Seems like they were more concerned about profits over satisfied customers. As a hotels.com member for many years this experience did not meet our expectations . we would never return and will not recommend Golden Nugget to anyone we know.

I reserved a king bed, got two twins. Bathtub was dangerously un-level, like standing in a canyon and rusted in places. TV was completely unplugged when we got there, had to pull out stand and hook up. Minor issues but overall wish there weren’t there, especially for the price.

We enjoyed everything about the room and the staff. Everything was clean and staff was very helpful checking us in. Lots of restaurants in the area. The problem was the noise from Fremont street. We upgraded our room to try to get away from noise, but it was still extremely loud. I used the ear plugs provided, but didn't seem to help.

A little too loud for us

The staff at the Nugget are amazing. So accommodating and friendly. We felt like we were staying at a friends. The room, well. . . We upgraded to a corner room and regretted it. We overlooked Fremont street so we had these great views but, the walls and glass must be very thin as we had blasting music until 2am and then just when you get to sleep, the trash trucks show up to get the dumpsters. Sure it is Vegas but, It was too much for us. Cannot recommend the corner suite in the NW corner of the Rush tower.
