We had a nice experience last year, and this year is different. We paid for the suite (they call that “one bedroom” ) which is about 950sqft, but the front desk gave us a small room (about 400sqft) and insisted that was what we booked. Had to make several phone calls and waiting, finally they changed to the right thing. The location is good, easy to find and easy valet parking. The room is 4 stars but the furnitures were 2 stars and lack of maintenance . Probably because it is private owned and managed by some third party company. May vary from room to room.

My room smelled upon check in and the desk said because it was privately owned and I booked through Expedia that they could not even provide an air freshener. I reached out to private housekeeping to have them taken care of it and they were able to come the next day but we're unable to get rid of the smell which lingered for my entire stay.

Everything went well until check-out.. For some reason, our car did not pop-up in the system.. It checked out before we did apparently.. lol.. But they did found it quick. We did spot a ding on the hood of our car that was not there before the trip, but we can't prove that valet did that. Besides all that, check-in was fast and proffessional. The hotel in general was clean, nice and friendly.. I would definetly consider returning on our next trip.

Great resort however the signature itself was not great. Our room was beautiful however it was not clean or updated at all. There were holes in the headboard, our tv was broken, the bathtub was very dirty, and our microwave was smoking. The staff was very friendly but when we asked for new towels and toilet paper, they said we couldn’t have any because we booked through Expedia. There was also no room service and no housekeeping. As I said, the resort is beautiful and very fun and very big but the signature needs a lot of updating, cleaning, and better guest services.

Check in process was smooth. Once inside encountered a small issue with the faucet which was corrected right away. Love the bell service and I liked that it was very close to the strip yet far enough to escape the noise.

The room boomed through Hotels.com were privately owned and not managed by the hotel itself. When first checked in the room they gave us smelled awful so we called down to get the room changed and they gave us contact info for whoever dealt with that room. We contacted them and they could not move us to a different room until the next day so we had to stay in the smelly room the whole night. I was so nauseous. They did not even compensate us for that night’s stay. The room they moved us to the next day was so much better. We enjoyed that room. But still should have been accommodated for the first night.

The shower door handle was falling apart, there was no light in the closet and there were only 2 facecloths for my entire 10 day stay. There were some decidedly dirty plates in the cabinet crusted with something unmentionable, and the FREEZER was overflowing with frost. The bathroom vanity was not working and there was no hairdryer, I have stayed at this properly many many times, however never with these issues.

Suite was very dirty, toilet seat had stains, walls and doors were disgusting, tub ring, shower was beyond unacceptable with hair on the drain trap and the walls and in very poor state. Dust all over the place, we ended up buying cleaning supplies and addressing some of the areas we had to use. Did not bother with the tub or shower. Since the cleaning left a lot to be desired we ended up buying out own pillow case and sheets.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. We couldn’t take a shower cause the shower head was corroded. Tub was nasty. Wet towels behind the door. Ceiling falling apart. Microwave handle broke. I could go on.

My room was dirty. So dirty it looked like they just remade the bed. On the handles there was caked junk. The whole place covered in a layer of dust. The tub clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The sinks had layers of dry water left on them that could be wiped off(not just hard water stains). I have pictures. When I went to the front desk they said it was privately owned suites so they couldn’t do anything about it. The lady at the front desk was nice and gave me the numbers I needed to call. When I called the number for the cleaning services, after 40 minutes of waiting in silence, they gave me a new room. The second one was just as bad as the first. At that point I was over it and decided we would just put up with it since there housekeeping was closed. I didn’t get into my second room until 6:30pm. The hotel area was nice as it’s connected to mgm grand. Other that that the room itself was a disaster.
