I liked the look from the outside, the housekeeping lady very nice. I didn’t like the beds the mattress very uncomfortable, the hallways smells humid, I stayed four days there, my friend said there was better rooms, i don’t know.

Room was great with micro fridge. Had to turn tstat temp down as items freezing. Freeway noise very close by but not real bad. Was disappointed with NO mini coffee/tea setup in room & long walk to California hotel vendors court to get coffee & pastry. Still great downtown hotel.

Although theme was old school train station setting. The rooms and casino floor did not seem outdated or run down. Would definitely stay there again or another Boyd hotel

Terrific Customer Service

We arrived very early at 7:00 a.m. on the day of our check-in, which was scheduled for 4:00 p.m. We simply wanted to have our bags held at the front desk so we did not have to leave them in our vehicle while attending our daughter's volleyball tournament. The gentleman working the front desk, John, said there would not be anyone working the bell desk until later that morning so we could not leave our bags. However, since there were already rooms available, John offered us a better option by simply charging us a $25 early check-in fee and giving us our room from that point. What a terrific example of excellent customer service! John and the Main Street Station staff made our stay extra memorable.

Obviously it’s an older downtown hotel. It’s well kept and we loved the old school Vegas style. Just a couple blocks from Fremont street. The room was good size and clean. The bathroom was a little small but all in all it’s worth it.

Main St Station is always dependable. Not a super luxury/crazy night life property, but a clean and quiet spot located in a reasonably safe area with Fredmont St steps away. Great for a solo getaway for a few days or just visiting friends in the area
