Property was fine, but the room had this odd one sliding door for the bathroom and the sink to wash hands. Meaning if the sliding door was open for the bathroom, it would be covering the sink and vice-versa. It was fine. Just odd.

I surely got the short straw on this visit. The woman who checked me in wasn't consistent nor listening to me carefully as she changed her responses a couple of times as well as cut me off when I was talking and asking a question. Then, after receiving my room key, I was approached by two security guards/officers, one wearing identifiable markings of a security guard and another in a suit with no visible identification as an officer. I don't recall the 3 letter acronym across the identifiable guard's vest. However, my lunch pale sized camera case apparently raised concern as if it were to resemble a bomb case because I was asked to have it searched....as if EVERY suitcase belonging to customers in the lobby couldn't care a bomb in their luggage. Improper profiling and selective random searches of personal belongings makes the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. Restition is real.

Immaculately clean room and facilities especially compared to other properties on the Strip. Free parking! Friendly staff. The room was REALLY clean. We were so pleasantly surprised. The Sahara isn't exactly in the middle of the action downtown but it makes up for that in value for the money. I recommend this hotel casino for anyone looking to stay on the Strip while not being overwhelmed by crowds. Much nicer place than other more famous names. Any time we're back in town we'll try to stay here in the future.

Its a nice hotel, modern and updated. Its quite far from anything else and there isn't that much to do inside the hotel except for a fairly basic casino. Good restaurants, Balla was exceptional. The room was a little noisy with the neighbors. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Check in was very easy and thorough, Registration desk staff were knowledgeable and comforting. I was leaving to a conference the next morning, I took my belongings to my vehicle at 9:45am, and I had my filebook with business cards and brochures inside, water thermoflask, and my coffee in the room as I was not finished. The non-english speaking maid had thrown all my things away, including my water and soaked every brochure and business card I had with me. Needless to say I was upset with her for doing this, and I was not checked out of the room at this time. I came to get my file, coffee and water container, make some notes and check out of the room before leaving to the conference, upon my return it was thrown away and destroyed by the water I had in my container.

My husband and I chose the Sahara due to how close it was to the festival this weekend! We lucked out. Robert made our check in smooth and despite how late it was, he was so cheerful and kind. Our room was clean and the view from the 21st floor was beautiful. We also hit the tables and dealer Christina’s vibe was so nice!! Overall we had a great experience.. highly recommend and we will be coming back!
