Beautiful location on the Colorado River. Very nice Restaurants. Perfect stop on a roadtrip in this area. Nice spacious rooms. Cleanliness of the bathroom floor was pretty suspicious, but due to the very affordable midweek fare I did not want to make a too big issue

Sketchy rooms at Golden Nugget

We checked in and wete put into a room that had not been cleaned and made ready for guest. We arrived late around 11pm, so this was not something we expected to have to deal with at this time. We were given another room which probably should have been upgraded for the inconvenience, but was not. The elevator for the east wing was also needing service. The rest of the hotel was great.

The hotel is pet friendly and the pet rooms are on the 1st floor with a patio and access to a courtyard. So super convenient with the dog. But the upcharge for the dog was more per night than our room!! So that was a bit much. Also the wifi was not good. It didn't always reach our room and kept cutting out. We complained to the front desk but that did nothing. Definitely some nits with the property but overall we had a good time.

My check in was Great, as far as getting in our room early. Unfortunately we did not get the room I requested, nor was any available. For me, I didn’t care, but for my 82 year old Dad that is a smoker, the patio would have been very accommodating. Not sure if it’s the hotels fault, or hotels.com Just made for an inconvenience because my Dad gets lost so I had to take him to the casino to smoke.
