I don’t like the pioneer anymore, we used to like the chill vibes here but now they have so many rules and the security staff are so rude. I asked for fresh towels like 4 times and they seem to always forget, beds feel smaller than full size and they were doing construction on the busiest days (Labor Day) obstructing several parking spaces. I’m disappointed and I’m definitely taking my family and business somewhere else next year.

There is nothing “NEW” about this facility. Do not be fooled. Rooms are old, sheets and towels scratchy, filthy tub, some former guest washcloth hanging on my shower curtain rod. Sign at check in says $250 charge for smoking. Then I get to my room and on top of all the other disgusting things it smells like smoke. They wanted housekeeping to spray some product before giving me a different room. I refused. If the product works why wouldn’t they have sprayed it before? Changed rooms which was equally as disgusting but didn’t smell of smoke. Unless you plan to get black out drunk and just wish to sleep on a reasonable facsimile of a bed vs. the backseat of your car, don’t book here.

It's an interesting property for hotel nostalgia buffs. It is a stay no more than a couple of nights and pay no more than $100 per night kind of place that is fun. AC worked great in my room.
