Lovely stay

Lovely stay for Tanglewood. Room 106 was very comfortable. It felt like its own private suite. It was very spacious and quiet. The only real downside was the bathtub. It’s beautiful to look at but it needs to have an update. I have no idea how anyone with mobility issues could manage it. Other than that, all was great! Staff was friendly and helpful and we loved that front porch!

Charming hotel in a charming town

Lovely stay. Comfortable bed. Large room. Adequate breakfast (no hot options that we saw, but plenty of other yummy items to choose from) with lots of spaces to enjoy it. Just a few steps outside the main street area of of Lennox. Plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. We attended an excellent outside show at the Shakespeare, which is just down the road, and hiked Mt Lenox as well. Tanglewood is outside of town too. Lots to do. Beautiful area. Great stay.

All good. Must commend a member of your staff who was being screamed at by a guest as we were checking out. Your front desk person was patient and professional. And the hotel guest if she had read the letter you give when checking in guests would have had all the information she was screaming about. We will be back

Great location and very comfortable room. They were sold out over our stay but staff was lovely, friendly and eager to assist. Breakfast was simple, but nice. My only complaint is the coffee. Yuk. They need to upgrade the brand of coffee!

The Constance is a beautiful building with good facilities. The room, including bathroom, were great. Nice lounge space downstairs, gorgeous garden for sitting, close to downtown Lenox (although a hike uphill). But not that they may not let you know, but there is no room service unless you ask, not even clean dry towels if you stay multiple nights. They were responsive when I said something, but at the price, I expect better. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Weekdays everyone from 3 properties crammed into one building with the space inadequate and not well designed. It's all supermarket food. Bagels wrapped in plastic kept in the fridge. Croissants that share only the shape of croissants with the original. A decent fruit salad. Hard boiled eggs. OK coffee.

A wonderfully elegant inn

Lovely, charming inn. Very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the quiet air conditioning split. Logan, who checked us in, was very warm and helpful. Some suggestions: a safety bar in the shower would be helpful to older guests, as would a rubber mat on the shower floor; tile is slippery. Also, a shelf near the sink for toiletries would have kept toothbrushes, combs, etc. from falling on the floor. The shower soap dispenser was empty, which I found out after I had already gotten wet.😥Decaf offered at breakfast would be nice, but I VERY MUCH appreciated the non dairy offerings. However, those omissions are easily solved and we look forward to another stay at your beautiful property.

Replace the shower head.

Too much water wasted when taking a shower. Replace the shower head. The front desk guy was the nicest. Very attentive and service oriented.

Old uncomfortable furniture. Clawfoot Bathtub was a death trap! Continential breakfast was very disappointing and the fire alarm went off in the morning because someone was taking a hot shower. Really?!
