When I arrived they told me I didn’t have a reservation at first. Several minutes later they come back to tell me that I’ve already checked in which I had not being I just arrived and walked straight to the front desk. After 10-15 minutes of talking and getting all the confusion figured out I made my way to the room. No ice machines worked, the place loooed to be under construction, switches in the room did not work,…etc…it was just an ole night stay, so it wasn’t a big deal. The staff wasn’t on the same page and had some sort of disagreement as I arrived. Over heard them talking saying the other walked off leaving 1 person to do it all.

The room was a good size and clean upon arrival. We had dinner across the street at Briar Patch and it was good food, walkable from the motel but we're older and it was cold outside, so we drove. Breakfast at the Hampton was good and an easy way to start out the next morning to continue our trip.

Hotel was dated and not very well kept. Pool was closed. The Hotel had construction going on. Breakfast was minimal and people had to sit in the dark because the staff wouldn't turn the lights on. A large portion of the parking lot was occupied due to construction. Towels were minimized. Hampton Inns are going downhill. I previously would always seek them out. They are not a good bet now. I would look elsewhere if I was traveling in the area again.

Near-overwhelming room “deodorant” odor. Lumpy bed…limp pillows…and housekeeping only “every other day” notice in small Print in bathroom. All this for $200+ per day? No thanks. I’ll go anywhere but a Hampton Inn again. PS. Plus I now see I was overcharged from what my reservation confirmation reflected.
