Uncharacteristic of a Downtown Hilton.

The overall stay was fine and Hilton eventually allowed us to move to another room. But this hotel has ongoing AC issues that need to be addressed. Many rooms do not cool properly and feel very humid. We experienced this on a prior stay in 2024 and again during this trip. (College team block of rooms). The plumbing needs work also. Our first room did not have enough pressure to fully flush the toilet. Toilet was not clogged. But the lack of pressure in the pipes created a weak flush and the shower flow stopped mid shower a few times. We asked the front desk if we could change rooms but they wanted to send maintenance up instead. But maintenance never came. So we waited another day to ask again to be moved to another room. I am generally not a complainer and we thought we could get by in the first room. But, the AC and plumbing was too much of an inconvenience. I am positive the management at Hilton knows they have an AC problem but they seem to be fine with booking these problem rooms out.

great stay for my daughters graduation from uk - perfect location!! and kudos to the cafe/bar staff that, though short-handed, worked hard for all the ppl wanting food n drinks. was the wait long? yes, but they worked hard to keep everyone content and the food was rather tasty!
