The view. Wow. I still see it when I close my eyes - the enormous pool, the beach at low tide, the surfers, the sunset. Wow. Clean, quiet (except the roar of ocean waves lulling you to sleep), delicious food at the restaurant, easy steps to the sand...this was our last stop in Portugal and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A decent oceanfront hotel that's hard to reach

You can't beat the view, and the staff of the restaurants were mostly excellent. The night shift man with the glasses was very rude and condescending. The shower drain flowed too slowly, even after we complained of a clog. Other than the lack of evening hospitality and one instance at breakfast of a rude attendant, it was a nice stay.

The best beach and a HUGE pool. Clean and modern.

Stunning location for a few days at a picturesque beach with the biggest pool we’ve ever seen. Room was simple and clean. Loved the room’s balcony and breakfast buffet. Not many walkable options for dining but hotel has everything we needed for a few days. Amazing property and service!

Being a solo traveler on this trip, this was a perfect location for rest and relaxation. I loved that the property is right along the shore/on the beach. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to open my balcony door and listen to/see the waves. The standard, first floor room was a good size with a comfortable bed and nice shower heads in the bathroom with hot water (hot showers are important to me). The complimentary bottle of wine and breakfast buffet included with my room rate were very nice touches. As well, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Mariana was a lifeline as she assisted me in getting around by looking up bus and train schedules and suggesting apps for me like Bolt, Omio and Moovit in addition to answering any other questions that I had for her. Sofia was willing and available to help when I needed also. I got a great value for the service and amenities that I received, and I would definitely return to Arribas Sintra without hesitation.
