Great stay in the fall

Very nice - huge - house for our reunion with friends. Six couples - every couple had a great bedroom with private bath, and plenty of space to get together (we did not even have a chance to use the downstairs bar area). Great fireplace outside the house allowed all of us to sit around the evening fire and enjoy the fall foliage. There are several great trails withing 5-10 minutes drive and lakes/ponds where you can do fishing ...

MAGNIFICENT

We had the BEST stay at this special property. Very close to Magic and Bromley. The home is full of beautiful space, sits on a gorgeous property with a fire pit, hot tub and woods to explore, and was pristine. We had 14 people, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Bonus: En suite bathrooms with each bedroom, PLENTY of plates/cups/mugs/silverware/pans, game room, and a wonderful 4 seasons sunroom perfect for coffee in the morning. THANK YOU for sharing this gem with our group. We cannot wait to come back next year!

Friend and Family ski weekend

What a wonderful house for a ski weekend! This house was just minutes from Bromley and a few restaurants and shops. A perfect location for our group of friends and our young kids. The house was more than we could ask for - it was family friendly and each family had so much privacy too. Great communication with owner, quick to respond and helpful with any questions leading up to the trip. We all packed very light on “things” and the house had everything we needed including a play pen, gates , travel cribs and cots. We added on the cottage after our initial booking with no problem and that was perfect to expand the space for everyone. We will definitely look to book again for our next ski trip. Thank you for a memorable weekend!

Wonderful

Great 3 generation family vacation. Amazing kitchen and fun barroom area for the kids on rainy days. Kids loved the hot tub and pool. Lots to do in the area. Only wish the access to trails in back was better cleared but we all had a blast.

Perfect setting for our retreat!

I hosted a yoga retreat at this property. It was set up perfectly for a group. Each large bedroom has its own private bathroom. Plus a couple more bathrooms to boot! We enjoyed the property very much, plenty of space to stretch out or if we wanted to be together we had nice large rooms and a beautiful yard to be together in. The fire pit was amazing! We had plenty of room in the kitchen for all of us. There were 16 of us in total. The kitchen is set up great for groups. We catered dinner each night and found wonderful food at the local establishments. We plan on coming back!

Great for large group!

Everyone had plenty of space to spread out at the house. Kitchen was well stocked. The yard and pool were great for the kids! Loved the big sunroom for hanging out. Outdoor dining area was great. The location is great. Easy to get to Manchester. Cute little markets nearby. Would definitely recommend for a large group!

What a perfect family setting!

We loved our stay. Great home - so many rooms and spaces for all! Everything we needed. We had 4 families stay in the home/property. We were concerned (prior to the trip) it was going to be too small but all 6 rooms in the main house were similar in size and accommodated us well. And the bonus cottage with 2 more rooms worked fantastically for one of the families with 2 older girls. Def recommend!

Fun, Quirky Historic Property

We enjoyed this wonderful, historic property with retrofitting for modern features while maintaining its historic features. Each bedroom was unique. The property is in a beautiful location that is close to a great grocery store, good restaurants, historic sites and good medical. The property had a wonderful laundry facilities with multiple washers and dryers. We really enjoyed the fit pit that was located in the middle of the meadow with plenty of firewood. The house had lots of games and a pool table. Parking was very convenient.

Plenty of bedrooms with queen/king beds. Privatebathrooms for each bedroom. We looked at several houses before selecting this one. It was truly a rarge gem in the area! And they have AC!

Great home for friends and family

This is a charming, old inn with lots of room to accommodate many friends or a large family. There are multiple "hang out" areas and the bedrooms all well appointed with their own baths. We loved the location close to Bromley. We also were able to go sledding and snowshoeing in the back yard.

Annual Ski Trip 10 Adults 7 Young Kids

Great place for big groups. Like many large older homes the heating is somewhat uneven (kitchen can get cold) but that is a minor complaint. Overall a great option - nice house, beautiful property, and accessible to multiple mountains between 10- 30 minutes. Daniel the owner is very professional and organized and great to work with, he wants to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Wonderful weekend!!!!!

We rented this house for our annual Christmas gathering! It was perfect. Plenty of room for all 18 of us. Daniel was excellent to work with. He made sure all of our needs were met!!!!! I would recommend definitely recommend this rental property!!!!

Large and comfortable house in a good location

We visited with 4 families, 3 of which had children. This was great for holding all of us, plenty of room and amenities. The house itself is old and well used, but that is reflected in the great price, and is only the house. The beds and bathrooms were wonderful and modern. New and high quality mattresses, down comforters, Jacuzzi tubs, plentiful towels. The location is excellent. It is set back off the road enough for you to be comfortable letting the kids play, but it is only 15 minutes to Manchester and 5 minutes to the nearest shopping. For us this was ideal; private, but convenient. Overall, this is was loved by everyone in the party. We all agreed this is where we will go next time we are in town. Thanks Daniel for the great experience.

2016 New Year's Eve Ski Trip

Our families enjoyed our four night stay at Blue Door Farm very much. The house is designed to accomodate a large group since all of the bedrooms have an en suite bathrooms. This was key with 6 children of varying ages and 4 adults. We also brought our pets which was wonderful. They had a great time frolicking in the snow! The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working. The owner apologized and gave us an additional bedroom, but the kids were still disappointed.
