Guest House (attached apartment) on the side of a historic home in a gated community in Pasadena just a few blocks from the famed Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena with word class restaurants and shops.

Enjoy al fresco dining on the private wooden deck off the entrance of the apartment surrounded by beautiful trees.

This space is very peaceful.

FYI, This is an attached guest suite of a home. We live in the main house and there’s a chance you could hear us. But you won’t see us :)

No parties or loud music & NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND.

Gorgeous Mountain View’s and an incredible location for a 2-person stay. The apartment was designed with elegance and thoughtfulness with all amenities provided. It truly elevated our stay in Pasadena. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was perfect. As others have noted, you must be comfortable with stairs. Jeffrey answered all of our questions and helped us find a dry cleaners for my husband’s tuxedo.

This apartment was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We enjoyed having breakfast on the small balcony, soaking up the mountain view and watching the bird life among the huge trees on the property's grounds. Cooking facilities were quite adequate for light meals. We are elderly, so the number of steps up to the apartment was a bit challenging, but didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of our stay.

Are host was very welcoming considering the family was dealing with the birth of a new baby! the amenities were fine. We were fine with the outdoor access; however, it might be helpful for afety reasons to eith adjust the sensor ligh or add one more so that the stairway is illuminated both at the bottom and top walkway.

Host was very responsive and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only reason we did not rate as excellent was because of the stairs especially at night. Lack of good lighting at night made it very difficult to maneuver the stairs.

I would be wary of this apartment if you have any issues with a lot of stairs. There are 35 plus stairs up and down to get to the apartment from the street. There are also steps inside the apartment. This is not mentioned in the listing. Also, the steps outside are not well lit at night. The owner was responsive to any questions I had.

What a gem that we found in this place!! My very dear friend and I had an incredible weekend staying in this darling apartment. We came into town to see a bucket list show at the Rose Bowl, and this location was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to and from the venue saving us hours in traffic. The space is calming, lovely, and had all the things we needed and more. Was happy to have been able to meet the owners toward the end of our stay, they are so kind and made sure we had a fantastic stay. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Unique Setting

We picked this property because it was close to a family member we were visiting. It has a unique and charming location in a gated, older, private development of large homes. We recommend arriving while it is still light outside, because the many steps down and up to the unit are not all well lit.

Beautiful apartment with a treehouse view

We loved our stay at Jeffery and Linda‘s apartment. The space had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. The views from the large windows were incomparable, particularly Thursday morning when we spotted snow on the nearby mountain. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Hidden Gem

Tucked away via private drives is a cozy apartment where we spent five nights. We had everything we needed here. Primarily used for coffee in the AM and sleeping at night, the apartment served us well. We were gone most of the daytime. The shower was wonderful! Would recommend having a rental car to transport yourselves, rather than Uber etc.

Charming with quirks

We recently stayed in this charming newly renovated apartment that felt like a cozy tree house getaway! Nestled in a historic home, it was full of character around every corner. We especially loved the big windows with beautiful views of the trees, letting us soak in the scenery and enjoy a refreshing breeze. The cozy kitchen, though small, kept the cook part of the conversation, making family meals enjoyable. We ate in every night and found the bed comfortable with soft sheets that made winding down easy. The beautiful shower was also a fantastic plus. There were a few quirks to note. The stove had a cooktop with only one working burner (there are only two to begin with), though I’m sure this will be addressed before the next guest. There’s no dishwasher, so we found ourselves hand-washing dishes after each meal, which wasn’t a big issue for us. Additionally, the apartment has quite a few stairs, so packing light is definitely helpful. The main drawback, and likely the reason we might not stay here again, was the noise from the main house. While you have your own private space, sounds from above started around 7:30 each morning, with footsteps and other activity that were noticeable. We’d hoped to sleep in on our getaway, so the early morning noise was a bit disruptive for us. Overall, though, the charm and beautiful setting made it a lovely place to stay. It could be a great fit for early risers or anyone who appreciates a unique, character-filled space!

Beautiful comfortable home

This historic house is gorgeous. We loved our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent. They ensured we made it safely into the apartment and if there were any issues to let them k ow right away. Beautiful neighborhood and close to where our plans were. Thank you!

Perfect for our trip

This property was perfect for our time volunteering on San Diego Zoo Rose Parade float. It is equal distance between the Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena so we could walk everywhere. The host was very responsive answering questions. The only negative was all the stairs.
