No rest for the weary.

There’s a Tequila bar in the same building that was doing all you can eat tacos and karaoke from 9PM-2AM. I was staying on the second floor right above the bar and it was so loud, at times, that my earplugs made no difference. It made getting up at 4AM for my flight a real challenge. The hotel should give guests a heads-up, as a courtesy, if this is a regular occurrence, which it seems to be.

Excellent hotel for the location and price. A great affordable option in downtown Santa Monica. Exactly what you need and nothing more. Room was clean, well-supplied, and functional. Staff was friendly and attentive. If paying in advance, note there is an additional destination fee which is paid at check-in.

I was here for work. I just slept here.. staff were friendly and helpful.. everything was clean and working.. shower was awesome.. only gripe would be the bedding was thin and cheap.. with foam pillows.(but clean). for $200 a night it should be a comforter and down pillows..

Smaller rooms with not so great bedding. Everything is clean and working great. TV is small and a bit older. There’s no room service or restaurant but everything is pretty close by but none open late. I was staying here because I was working in the area.

From the photos of the hotel website it looks very good. However upon entry you can tell the building was very out dated. It felt a little haunted. The elevator was so tiny if you have a lot of luggage you would have to make multiple trips. The hallway room was old and had a very strong odor. The room itself had the same odor, was very outdated, and felt very uneasy. The bed was rock hard. My son had bad allergies to the smell. There was no way we would have spent the night let alone the whole trip. We booked a different spot and checked out as soon as we checked in. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite and understood our concerns they refunded us for the unused nights with easy. Other than the friendly staff and the location I would not stay here even if it was free.

The front desk lady was not helpful. We almost had to find another place due to parking and she was like ok, cancel. She could care less. Had no idea where we should park. Thankfully the valet was able yo help us. I would not recommend staying here because of her alone.

Nice bed and clean room but no heater, loud annoying fan when turn on light in bathroom, terrible view, $25 parking down the street, and charged extra $23 “resort fee” even though Hotels.com listed all costs included online.

Slow wi-fi, loud noises

Great location. But the generator in the middle of the building sounds like a loud idling car 24/7. The wi-fi was slower than 2 mbps - insanely slow. The $20 “resort fee” is just a sham that hotels get away with at this point. Quite the bummer of an experience
