This hotel was nothing like advertised. The front desk is behind a very thick bulletproof window, and there were homeless people sleeping right outside, which made us feel unsafe. The front desk staff, a young Indian man called himself "Mike" ignored guests while on the phone (also you can barely hear him behind the thick bulletproof window). The room smelled strongly of smoke and the bed did not have a comforter or blanket, only a paper-thin sheet. We felt unsafe and requested for refund. The front desk argued "everyone stays here, feeling unsafe is your own problem".

At arrival the front desk staff member had me wait for over 20 mins. I kindly asked him to check me in and he stated he to continue waiting. I then requested him to please check me and this seemed to upset him. On the next day of our stay this same staff member approached me and stated that I needed to pay an additional parking fee but this was not disclosed at check In or on Expedia. He stated that if I did not pay the fee that he would have my vehicle towed away off the parking lot. It was extremely distasteful staying here

Please for your safety do not book here. My partner and I checked in late (I understand the delay at the front desk) but when we came to our rooms,very unsafe. Multiple people were yelling at each other, banging on the walls and illegal activities all over the parking lot. Once it escalated more, we decided to leave and did not notify the front desk. I did not get my refund but if it’s for my safety, I am okay not getting it.

Room 210 bed sheets were very dirty. Me and my guest decided to go to the front desk and get a new room or new sheets, the man working the front desk spoke to us through a ring camera and came out a few minutes later. He gave us a new room and the bed sheets were worse. I did take pictures to prove it. On top of that in the new room (221) the toilet seat wasn’t even for the right toilet. The seat cover was a circle but the actual toilet itself was oval. It was very uncomfortable to use. We did not feel comfortable staying there. We did drive all the way from San Diego to visit family in the local area. I will never go back to that hotel. I wish I could get a full refund for our stay.

I would not recommend this place, the area is definitely sketchy. Homeless people hanging around hotel the entire time, single women hanging around at night. I wouldn't recommend.
