My mother and I loved every single thing about our stay at the Luskin. From the parking attendant to the front desk to the bartenders waiters and breakfast staff, we couldn’t have had better interactions. We want to commend the hospitality training and hiring at the Luskin, I have stayed in far more expensive places and had far less wonderful service. Congratulations. We will certainly come back again.

Everything and everyone was great. The only issue was the service for dinner. There were so many people waiting for dinner (we had a reservation) and we were seated at our reservation time but an order was not taken until at least 45 min. after we were seated. Granted, it was busy (after a gymnastics meet) but that was a long time to wait. Dinner was great, but we had a reservation and expected to be served shortly after.

The only option for breakfast was a buffet, which was expensive for a family of 4. They said coffee was available, but not until 7:00am. So we found the dining options very limited in the morning.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay mainly due to the staff and the nice room. The front desk staff, especially this young lady (didn’t catch her name), were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel location is so convenient right on UCLA campus for all of our plans. There are thoughtful decorations about UCLA and LA history in the hotel and rooms, which I enjoyed. They also had a book about their restaurant, Plateia. The restaurant food and service was just alright and felt a bit overpriced for what you’re getting. They had a limited menu maybe because of the holiday. We appreciated there was a water station in the gym. Some of the parking lot spaces were smaller than compact if you decide to self-park in their lot. I was a bit annoyed that some people left their cars in the EV charging in the parking lot even after they were fully charged. That could be better enforced or maybe there just weren’t many other spots to choose from because it of the space issue. Overall, it was a great value, and I’ll be staying again if I’m in the area.

Hotel is beautiful. Would like the option for a non-buffet breakfast meal in restaurant. The showers, while they look nice, are not very functional - low water flow and no door on shower to keep you warm.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were okay bt they were all the same loftiness. I always appreciate when their are 2 different pillows, one that is flatter and one fluffier so you can have a choice of what works better for you. Doors are pretty loud if your neighbors are not thoughtful. Location is excellent. Free drinks at bar was a nice touch. Good view out the window and fresh air. Overall great stay
