The room was dirty the pull out couch was dirty, and the room felt sticky and stuffy due to no ac and one of the windows had no screen so we couldn’t open that window to air the room, the area was nice though very close to some good diners, the ocean, korean friendship bell, aquarium etc

Loved it!

The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. The property is really quaint. We loved the hotel and the immediate area surrounding it. Such a cute town! We will stay here again if we’re in the area.

I was concerned when I booked this and was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. It was completely renovated and super cute. It had a great layout to the room and bathroom. the parking is literally right out the front door. I imagine the price of this hotel with increase now that they have done the renovations. 2 suggestions I made to the front desk and he said they were working on it was to have either a coffee machine in each room or a nicer coffee service in the front desk area - either would have made me happy. the other was the addition of an ice machine - I had brought drinks and expected that there would be ice someplace - but no. not at this time.

The property was recently remodeled and was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the ceiling fans were nice. It was conveniently located to the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. There are no security locks on the doors. The other downside is the bathroom sink has an open channel spout to create a waterfall effect but I think they are unsanitary. The room appeared clean but unfortunately there was a bad odor in the kitchen/living room area and there was a hair in the toilet and one in the shower.

We had 2 rooms under our booking for a family trip. When we first arrived, one of the rooms was really dirty and did not match the cleanliness standards I had expected after reading online reviews. The staff upgraded us to another room that was more up to par. Amenities were minimal but the place sufficed for a one night stay before we moved on to the next leg of our trip.
