Bit of a dump

Some lights in the room didn’t work. We couldn’t get the taps in either the shower or sink to work. Clerk from the front desk said he would move us but when he came he just showed us how to get the taps to work. We had done exactly what he did but you needed to have the strength of Arnold Swarzenneger to turn them on. None of the ice machines worked. There was no way to make a hot drink - no kettle and no cups. The whole place seemed very run down and a bit smelly.

Handicap accessibility

I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who has a disability or uses a wheelchair. I felt very unsafe the entire time. The floors are laminent, so they were very hard to try to balance on plus everything slid when trying to use it for balance or to stand up and the restroom. I could not even get my wheelchair into it and then the bar situation in the bathroom. Was poor. All of the light switches, we're too high and out of reach. This is only from the perspective of a handicap accessible room. And in that case, again, I felt very unsafe the entire time.

It was good enough for one night. Horrible mattress, had to ask for a Kleenex box, no breakfast in sight. But I did not find the room inside dirty as some have complained and I’m OCD.

Not recommended, bed was sunken in middle, so it was an uphill battle all night, sink was broken, shower moldy and filthy. Couldn’t shower! Terrible. Location was great!

If this hotel was not across from the cruise port, there is no way I’d pay 130$ a night for a place like this. This hotel was not good. Not only did we wake up to bed bugs in our room (203), but our neighbors room lights shined under the connecting door, they were noisy, the room is beat up, and dirty mattresses. We showed the front desk the picture of the bed bugs but they didn’t seem to care.

Stay away.

Close to the port but after the 3rd room change we should have just left. Super dirty, lots of things broken. The maintenance guy was nice - but super overwhelmed at what he has to deal with. We didn’t see any cockroaches - so that’s a plus, but that’s a low bar.

Worse than expected

The only good thing I can say about this place was the location. It was only a couple blocks from where our cruise ship was leaving the next morning at San Pedro, and we stayed here after driving seven hours. If I were to hire a hooker and we went to a hotel that charged by the hour, this is what I would picture. I wasn't expecting much from the reviews and the price but this was ridiculous. Cigarette burns in the curtains and bathroom (supposed to be a non-smoking room), worn mismatched Goodwill furnishings and I didn't even know that toilet paper was made so thin until I stayed here.

If you just need a relatively cheap place for one night before your cruise, and dont mind some roaches, pillows that smell of bug spray, a room with so many holes in the wall it looks like a former abandoned hotel that homeless stayed in that was made into a normal hotel (aparently it was used as such during the pandemic to house the homeless after the motel 6/ best western that used to be there closed), then you can do worse. Otherwise id suggest spending a little more for a better longer term room. If you dont expect much, its passable enough.
