Very friendly staff. They remembered us and our unique situation as we had to switch rooms for the last day of our trip. They had a roll away bed for my daughter all set up and ready to go since the new room only had 1 bed. Great customer service!

they fit a lot into a small area here. the location is good (near freeway and a bunch of interesting restaurants) and the room was surprisingly spacious. parking is tight around the side or double stacked in front, but it's free and the front desk can valet the cars in front so the system works. everything was clean and comfortable, all in all a great stay

This is a solid 3 star hotel. Rooms are very clean with windows that open, parking is free (although, can be tricky, breakfast is self serve basics, however, there are plenty of walkable restaurants, staff is friendly and helpful, UCLA is 5 minutes away.

Great stay in the heart of Westwood close to everything we needed including UCLA. Parking is tight if you have an SUV but it worked out fine for us. Will definitely visit again.

THANK YOU Royal Palace!!

I showed up at the Royal Palace with my back completely thrown out while on a solo roadtrip and was very moved by the staff's kindness. They helped me get into my room early so I could lie down, and when it unexpectedly got much worse they helped me extend my stay and even brought me a fork when my food delivery was missing one! I will absolutely be back and especially recommend the Royal Palace to anyone dealing with medical stuff or disabilities. They were so understanding and nice which made a scary situation much less stressful. Thank you all!!

Good stay except the over-zealous cleaning lady

Single night stay to drop off UCLA son. The room was clean and spacious, nicely quiet for a good night's rest. The next day, I planned to do some work before checking out at 12 pm (the required time). The cleaning woman knocked on the door at 10am "oh sorry" but then came back again half an hour later. Lady, check out isn't until noon, why you keep bugging me? Finally put the do not disturb sign on the door, realized should've done that in the beginning, but have never had this happen before.
