Team at the Hoxton were pretty outstanding, friendly and professional. Plus the decor was fantastic, really loved it. The team at the rooftop bar/pool pretty poor, and didn’t take care of hotel guests, not sure if it’s a concession. The area was disappointing, whilst not exactly unsafe, not great at all and most walks in any direction featured several crackheads and boarded up stores. I’d love to say I’d be back, but would need the whole area to uplift.

I'm going to be raving about The Hoxton for a long time after my wonderful week-long stay in downtown LA! Rooms were thoughtfully designed, extremely clean and comfortable - beautiful down to the last detail. My stay was split between two rooms as I went to Palm Springs for a couple of days, so it's interesting to be able to compare; the standard room was perfectly sized for me on my own and the clever layout makes the small space feel really light and open. That said, I also really appreciated the extra space of the biggie! If you're staying a whole week or longer, bringing kids/a pet or just want to spread out a bit, it might be worth sizing up, but I'd be very happy in any of them! All the staff were amazing - warm and friendly service that puts you at ease. Being able to order a breakfast bag before I went to bed was really welcome after a long flight (yummy overnight oats with the option to make it non-dairy, fruit juice). It was warm enough to enjoy the beautiful rooftop pool, with a beautiful space and good music. Convenient location whether you're driving or using public transport. Mini-fridge with daily water is fantastic. Beds were sooo comfy and the blackout blinds had me sleeping like a baby. Would book again in a heartbeat and hope to try other locations soon :) Thank you!
