Its an iconic hotel on the walk of fame. The staff work really hard and extend hospitality in every way. They are let down by senior management. There are 8 valets and 1 guy behind the front desk with a queue of 30 people. The interesting thing is the staff outright apologizes and tells you their leadership is clueless. Its bad to see hard working people in the hospitality industry let down by ignorant senior management.

Center of Hollywood

Parking was valet and price was a bit of a shock. Check-in was great and our room was comfortable. The fridge and cabinet were stuffed full of tempting, expensive snacks and drinks. Although we were set back from the street, traffic noise came in anyway, so ear plugs are a good idea. Staff was lovely. They put an additional sum on your credit card in case of room damage, which we're waiting to be refunded. The lobby area is magnificent. Perfect location for feeling in Hollywood.

This is our second time staying here and we truly enjoyed our stay both times! Sitting in the beautiful lobby with music playing and a fire is my favorite, but would love to be there when an old movie is playing in the theater!

Great cabana room. Some food was better than other items. Hotel is very pricey., charge $70 a night to leave your rental car at valet which I thought was a bit outrageous, although valet’s were great.

Elevators hardly worked, rooms showing age. Staff nice, pool great. Restaurants fantastic. The location is fine, but record numbers of homeless and mentally ill walking the streets. Be safe after dark. Super noisy due to Hollywood Boulevard being used as a racetrack.

Pros: I really like this hotel. The public spaces are beautiful and our suite was very comfortable, well proportioned with lots of room. Nice bath products and linens. Staff is great. Most responsive and quick valet service I've ever experienced. Cons: Hollywood Blvd is just plain depressing. Hotel pool is lovely but way too noisy (loud music) to relax. Funny thing to ask about environmental efforts. Like so many hotels, there is a sign touting their environmental efforts and asking guests to help by being conscious about linen use. But the sign was placed next to 4 bottles of water for sale -- in a city where the tap water is perfectly safe to drink. The irony.

Beautiful, historic hotel. Love the decor and the vibe inside. Hollywood Blvd. is not the greatest. Busy with tourists and crowded. Noisy. One of the elevators was out of service so that was a bit of a pain. Staff was good, and we enjoyed our stay.

my room was so noisy all night it was loud music until midnight and our family could not sleep . windows was old and all service was included extra fee Parking for just one night charge me 70$ hotel with 400$ per night wasn't breakfast included. In total it was not feel great compare with our cost. 575$ one night stay with additional breakfast bill and parking fee without relax night after a longday.

Old School Iconic Hollywood.

We stayed in Hollywood before the Cruel World Concert in Pasadena. The Roosevelt is a gorgeous hotel with great vibes in the lobby for a nightcap before returning for the night. Definitely upgrade to the Cabana Rooms - it's private, quiet and closer to the old school 1950's Hollywood iconic pool (no elevators involved). And don't miss Musso and Frank Grill, plus L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele (yes from the original owners in Napoli)... best restaurants walking distance.
