Had a lovely few days at the Dom Jose as a solo female visitor. I felt very comfortable sitting in the lounge in the evenings, particularly when there was live music. The breakfasts were great and the bar snacks were great value. I didn't have dinner. I have two small criticisms regarding the room 1 Do people really need that enormous tv? A mirror over the dressing table would be more useful. Also a second chair is needed if there are two in the room. 2 Why is it so difficult to find out the Wifi code? I tried the one that comes up on the tv but of course it didn't work so i ended up going to reception in my pyjamas, only to be told the code was hidden in the key card wallet Finally, I read somewhere online that hotel guests are charged a fee to use the hotel sunbeds on the hotel beach. This is not something i experienced personally as i was there in January, but i really hope it's not true as that would seem a very mean thing to do. Surely guests have paid.for the use of hotel facilities.

Clean room of course! Great staff especially Mina and Felix who is attentive to my child. They went over and above my expectations. The location of the hotel is perfect near the supermarkets and a lot of restaurants nearby. Perfect for laid back holiday. Half board was perfect breakfast choices was fantastic dinner is delicious.

We very much enjoyed our stay. There was parking available for our rental car. The room was very spacious and beds were comfortable. The direct access to the beach was amazing. The restaurant wasn’t our favorite but that was the only thing we didn’t like. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, location is great next to beach and also great for walking into Vilamoura marina about 2miles away. Food at breakfast was excellent and the gym was very good even though it is not that large as any more than 4 people at a time and it’s too crowded. I will definitely book again.
