Los cuartos amplios, limpios y con espacio suficiente para acomodar la ropa. La alternativa de diferentes restaurantes con diversidad de opciones lo hace irresistible. The rooms were not cleaned properly upon arrival even though it took long for our rooms to be ready. Some of us waited two hours after check in for our rooms (some as late as 5pm) while check out is strictly mid morning. Some staff were lovely, pleasant and helpful yet many others, especially the restaurants’ staff, are extremely rude. This aside the food tasted nice, the pools and kids entertainment were wonderful. Overall 3 stars.

The place was close to the airport and shops which was nice. The beach was beautiful and you could watch the planes flying over while swimming in the ocean. There were limited chairs on the beach so get there early. The rooms were clean, but the shower would over flow with water and the air conditioning was just ok. There were a decent amount of restaurants but you need to pay attention to when they are open (some are only open on certain days). The food was fine. Sometimes we would have to wait for pizza at Napoli because they wait for you before they make it. The staff could have been friendlier, especially at the pool tiki bar. The bartenders were rude and you waited a while to get served which killed the vibe at times. The kids club staff were great with the children and the water slides were a hit. Overall, you get what you pay for. The place has a ton of potential, but they need to work on customer service.

⭐️ Extremely Disappointed! Would Not Return. I really wanted to enjoy my stay at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown from the moment we checked in. The biggest issue was the air conditioning or lack of it. Our room was hot and uncomfortable the entire stay. We reported it every single day, but it was never fully fixed. Sleeping in that heat was miserable. Worst sleep ever. The service overall was poor. Staff seemed uninterested or unhelpful and getting basic assistance felt like pulling teeth. The food was another disappointment ;( bland, repetitive, and definitely not up to the standard you’d expect from a resort at this price point. To top it off, the pool area smelled like sewage, which made it hard to enjoy one of the main features of the resort. Honestly, I’ve never been so excited to check out of a hotel before. This was not the vacation experience we were hoping for, and sadly, I would not recommend staying here.

Not much food options and service was slow. At the buffet there was glass in cabbage which cut my cousins mouth and no one called to check on her

The mattress on bed was uncomfortable, thin and felt old and very used. The food was sub par at each dining facility on the property including the italian restaurantthat required "elegant" attire. The air conditioning went out constantly from day one. Many guests complained and managers didn't respond until after many came to front desk en masse, in a group. The showers flooded the floors due to poor construction of the shower. Water flowed from shower across the entire bathroom area, into entry way, foyer.
