The hotel was over crowded. Rooms need renovation. Mold is visible in the bathrooms and in the room corners, walls and ceilings. When it was windy and rained heavily, a lot of water came in through the patio doors along with a loud whirling whistling noise because the door seal is worn off and they said there was nothing they could do about it. The air conditioning was inconsistent, did not work properly and lots of humidity and condensation dripping from the ceiling and walls of the room. The dining options need major improvement. Buffet and La Fontana restaurant food was ok, however the Palm grill, the Mexican restaurant and the Asian restaurant food were not good… you can tell the food was left over, pre-prepared, dry, reheated, and very overcooked. The staff at La Fontana were rude as if they were unhappy with their jobs, no smiles, very unwelcoming. The spa was wonderful, I did have a great massage and the staff at the spa were very courteous. Also, the check-in was very slow although they did greet you with a welcome drink and cold cloth. I will say that Sonijka at the front desk was very pleasant, courteous and accommodating. Overall experience was not great and I would not stay here again. I rate this place a 3/10 and I do not recommend it.
