Tervetuloa Ashleyrose-joelle! Tilava mökki tarjoaa molempien maailmojen parhaat puolet vuoristomaisemilla ja yli 200 metrin päässä joen rannalta. Ashleyrose sijaitsee Shenandoah-vuorten ja George Washingtonin kansallismetsän välissä, ja se tarjoaa erinomaisen ulkokokemuksen, romanttisen pakopaikan tai paljon ansaittua paeta päivittäisestä jauhamisesta. Check in smoothCleanliness throughout the house in horrible condition. Dust every where table lamps, door knobs, windows, even the bed post full of dust. We were practically inhaling the dust everywhere!! Even Microwave & oven had splatter of food in them !!All the comforters were in shambles with rips & sewns going apart!!!! Pillows were stained with blood !!!!! Bathrooms no hand soaps!! Although when we complained it was supplied. Zane property manager was easily approachable & was very polite & accommodating!! Only positive thing in this house was the pool!! My whole family thoroughly enjoyed being in it & playing games on the slide!!For the price we paid for 4 nights in this house it was an expensive stay!! It was a very neglected property where Home owners didn’t give a damn about the hygiene, cleanliness let alone the provisions for the guests for that ridiculous amount of money they are charging!!Never realized for the first time how much wrong you can go with vacation properties!! Pics are so deceiving!! Never again in this house!! Will not recommend anyone!! No complaints about Zane, location of house & outdoor pool though

The water slide is game changer for the kids!

This was a great property, the pictures do not do it justice. The inside is huge and well laid out. The water slide was game changer. The pool was not cleaned when we arrived and did not have a pool net on the property, so we communicated with the manager and they had someone come out right away.Also, no linens provided except blankets and also no shampoo, conditioner, or body soap was provided - just little things that I think can be improved.But we loved it and will be back!

Good location but poor hygiene.

Location its good and there's different activities to do within a close range. They asked us to bring sheets and pillow cases, the pillows had yellow stains in all bedrooms, floors were dirty, we had socks all the time and first 5 min they turn brown. Water has a smell to it. We know that theres lot of minerals in the area but a little heads up could of being nice. We had to come and buy more water because we weren't sure if it was good to drink. Overall location its good but I was not happy with the property hygiene.

Our Second Stay at Ashleyrose

We have chosen this property twice because of the location and the wonderful pool. The house has everything you need and it is huge, allowing you to enjoy it without being in too close quarters with your extended family. It is very close to town, in a very quiet neighborhood and the river frontage is amazing. Views of the night sky are nice too. We watched the Starlink satellite cross the night sky while we sat around the fire pit. It appears the bathrooms and kitchen have been upgraded since our last visit. Very modern appliances and we liked the big dining room table for family dinners. A couple of notes: Even on the hottest days, the pool temperature is still unusually cold (our opinion), likely due to the night temperatures in the mountains. It is a long way down to the river and I wouldn't recommend trying it by foot or regular car (there is a driveway down there). Getting back up with your gear would be a major hike. Ashleyrose is perfect for a family get together.

Great Stay--with some hiccups

Great location. The pool surrounding the mountains was the best part. Property manager was prompt when we notified them that the coffee maker was not working. The house could use some updates (furniture, grill) And the oven unfortunately did not work during our stay, though they did their best to remedy and that is appreciated. Guests must drive garbage to a place nearby...about a 20 minute drive round trip, or pay a fee per bag if left in the house. This was not noted on the listing and future guests should be aware. The house was spacious, great setting in nature and we overall enjoyed our stay.

Middle of the Road

The setting and the views are AMAZING! We really enjoyed teaching the kids to kayak the river and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The house had room enough for everyone but definitely needs some TLC. We were expecting to have clear banks along the river (like the picture), but it's completely overgrown and a tree is down right by the dock. We were a group of 4 adults & 5 kids trying to fish off the dock. Amazingly, no one got hooked! Zane with Allstar and also the owner, were both very nice/ helpful when I ran into some problems with the pool & A/C.

Family mountain retreat

The property was a wonderful place to vacation with our family with young children. The beautiful in-ground pool was a huge hit with the kids. The pool is large, well designed, and has nice views. River access is a bit difficult due to the large steep hill but very nice once you get there. I did manage to haul my inflatable kayak down there and enjoyed paddling up the river. House is very spacious and comfortable. Air hockey was great but the pool table is pretty beat up. Kitchen is well equipped but could not find a lighter or kitchen trash bags. Overall the place is really great with the combination of mountain views, private pool, and river access. Highly recommended.

Great Friends, Great Weekend

We had a fantastic stay in Luray. The house was amazing and was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway weekend. Having both a pool and river access allowed us to relax and catch-up.

Great outdoor space

We loved this house and property. It was quiet, spacious and the yard and pool were fantastic. The only two items that dropped our rating from a 5 was that the wifi was really poor. My husband was supposed to work remotely while we were there, but the wifi speed was so slow he couldn't get any emails to send with an attachment. We ended up having to use a hot spot from our phones because cell service was stronger than the wifi. We also has a few issues with the water working with the slide on the pool. It worked on and off over the weekend, which frustrated the kids a lot, but the rest of the pool was absolutely wonderful! We would stay there again!
