We had a wonderful stay at this particular unit at the village. The host (Natural Retreats) initiated a text message thread a couple of weeks before our trip which enabled us to ask questions before and during the trip and they always respond quickly. The unit itself is well-kept and well stocked with a lot of kitchenware that were in great condition. They also made sure there are enough dishwasher pods and trash bags in the unit unlike other rentals we’ve had in the past. The unit is also in the first level and close to everything: the ski storage area, the laundry, the trash chute and even the elevators so loading and unloading wasn’t too bad. We also loved that it’s close to the entrance so you walk out and you’re right in the middle of the village where you can shop, eat, drink or just grab coffee. Natural retreats also had some goodies for us that made us feel welcome (coffee beans, olive oil, etc) and even provided a lock so you can use the ski storage. The only thing I didn’t like was you only get one parking pass but that’s really up to the Mammoth Village Lodge and not the host. There is a paid parking lot across the street that’s available and a very short walk from the unit. Overall, I would totally book this particular unit again and would also look to at other rentals by Natural Retreats.
