Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lodge is a little on the older side, but spacious, clean, and very conveniently located near the gondola to the lifts. Hot tubs were great. Ski locker was convenient.

It was nice, you definitely pay for the convenience of where it’s at , not an updated property. Saturday night was noisy, kids were sledding down the hall. We asked them to quiet down then had to call security twice.

Questionable but Convenient Location

Beat up units and make sure you don't rent a unit anywhere close to the Tiki bar Lakanukui place on a Friday / Saturday. Would have been nice to get a heads up on the noise till 130am or at least some ear plugs in the room or something. Service at front desk is laughable bad - nice people but poorly educated on hospitality and kind of clueless. Location is a 10 for convenience and mountain access but I won't stay again. Rooms are okay but you never know what you're gonna get so ask up front where the room is and the finishes....some are ghetto and some are nicer.

Location was ideal! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, rentals, and food mart. The gondola was only steps away from hotel doors that takes you straight to slopes. They have outdoor fire pits, and snow area for kids where they can sled or just play in the snow. They also have a heated pool and jacuzzi. We had a 2 bedroom that was extremely spacious. With a fully equipped kitchen that had pots pans, dishwasher, dish soap, and etc. The living room was also spacious and separate from dining area and spacious outdoor patio. There is also a sofa that turns into a bed. The car garage was safe and easy to get to. Staff were friendly and accommodating. This is now our go-to when in Mammoth.

Don’t book at last minute because if you make a mistake on the date you can change anything even 1 second after booking. There should be at least a few minutes to adjust your booking 😠
