I was very disappointed when I checked in due to the fact that I’d requested a room with a bathtub. When I asked about it I was told because I’d booked through a third party I would have had to cancel my reservation and rebook with Hilton. Needless to say, the only thing I’d wanted in a room I was unable to get. If I’d known this I would have booked with the hotel for a room I’d actually wanted.

Breakfast was ok. Perhaps an upgrade in quality of hot breakfast but so much to choose from made up for the lack of quality in eggs, potato and meats. Needs to stay open until 11 or 12-people sleep in when on vacation.

I'll start by saying everything outside of what I will mention here was excellent. Construction was going on during my stay. I stayed 2 nights. When I woke up the first morning, the carpet was being pulled up from the entire hallway, the room number plates were being removed plus various drilling and hammering. I had to navigate piles of pulled up carpet and other obstacles just to get to the elevator. It was not safe and the odor from whatever solutions were being used or were exposed from this renovation was very prominent. I did ask if they could move me to another room and the front desk staff was very accommodating but why would you schedule a customer to stay on a floor that was going to be entirely renovated in that time? It just seems like very poor decision making and this is the second time I've stayed at a hilton where there was renovation happening and it presents an inconvenience to the customer and should be mentioned when making the reservation. Thank you.

The place was wonderful; I just had the bad luck to stay in a week during which there was no hot breakfast due to kitchen / dining room reservations and my heating and room key were temperamental. But staff (who are FANTASTIC) did all they could to help. Oh, and the pool is marvellous!

I'd have to start with the staff each and every one of them were so professional so courteous so interactive and just made us feel like we were coming home there at night. It was a getaway and a halfway meeting point for two old sisters to spend some time together. Everything worked out beautifully The bed was very comfortable, it was clean, the gentleman came up and ever so patiently got Netflix on the TV for us and we were able to enjoy meals that we got out at the table and chairs and a lovely couch to sit and chat and chat and chat! Well done and thank you for a lovely stay!
