Rooms need attention!

Arrived on Wednesday. Expected our room to be cleaned on Friday per the every other day schedule. Was gone all day and came back to nothing being cleaned. Had to request clean towels. The floors were absolutely filthy. Had to wash our feet after taking a shower and walking to the bedroom on the dirty floors. Couldn’t even put our shoes on without washing our feet. Paying over $300 per day, I would expect to get my room cleaned on schedule!

room has a mini kitchen but no paper towels are provided to wipe up spills. Mini coffee pot was dirty. Had to go down to the lobby to get coffee each morning. Enjoyed the location and sitting outside on the balcony..

Moldy, hairy and smelly

Upon entering, there was an overwhelming smell, almost medicinal. It was not pleasant. Our room was no better, my entire family smelled it. We decided to order some room service since we had been on the road for 6 hours. We ordered a hamburger, plain, nothing on it, chicken tenders, tortilla chips and a chicken club. What we received was a CHEESEBURGER, 2 orders of tenders, a club and chips. My daughter cannot eat cheese, so the burger, which was burnt, went into the garbage, she luckily could eat the chicken. The food was mediocre at best, but how hard is it to get 4 orders correct??? The shower door would not stay closed and got the bathroom floor soaking wet, there was mold, scum and tons of hair in the shower underneath the drain board, looks like no one ever picks it up to clean under it. Overall, we will never be back. The Keys were not as fun as we thought they would be. Horrible traffic, sub par restaurants, and that is just the beginning.

This was a nice property. I do not understand why $10 was charged to park your car. The parking lot was almost empty and this was totally unnecessary. Please stop charging for parking!!!!

Brown stuff on sheets

Usually Hampton Inn is great but the pull out sofa had brown stuff all over the mattress cover and no sheets or blankets for it. I asked for a credit or refund but bc I booked with Hotels.com they wouldn’t give it to me, and said I have to call their GM during weekday business hours. A lot can be overlooked but brown stuff on the sheets is too much. Hopefully they will resolve the issue when I talk with the GM during the week, but the staff did not sound reassuring.
