Tropical Cottages was an amazing place to stay for our Anniversary week. The cottage was cleaned daily and none of our personal effects were touched. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially the Spanish lady at the reception. The bed was comfy, clean room, outdoor bathroom and shower was amazing. The only thing i didnt like was that they charge you extra $26 if you want to check in early. The bar prices here are cheaper than most bars in the area and the food truck/trailer food here is good quality.

The property atmosphere is very nice. The tiki bar area had some music playing but it was not too loud so I appreciated that. Conveniently located in the middle of Marathon and easy access off of US1. The only downside I saw was that there did not appear to be space to accommodate a boat or trailer should I decide to bring my boat with me on a future trip.
Interior was fresh and clean. A touch rustic but nice.
Outside area gave a sense of privacy with pathways and small patio for each cottage.

Marathon Key

Quick trip to the keys. Only 1 hour from Key West. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Fresh coffee at the tiki each morning. Would stay there again

This was a truly unique stay extremely private, very quiet. On property there is a tiki bar and taco truck serving wonderful food and great drinks with beer on tap and other choices. We felt very welcome. We sat in the Adirondack chairs outside our cottage, and there's also a private area through the French doors in our cottage, number 2. We arrested in the most comfortable bed. The cottage is well air-conditioned. Eerything about that college is extremely comfortable We had delicious tacos and fabulous drinks the night before. There are a couple of well-cared-for resident kitties on the property who are friendly and the staff was very helpful and attentive.

Cottages are clean. The chairs and tables everywhere to sit relax. Staff was very nice. It was my moms 80th birthday and she just wanted to go away. She enjoyed the Tropical Cottages good time was had by all. Will come back again.

you get what you pay for. The cottage I stayed in was old, floors were un even, sofa bed was terrible and dirty, had dirt and hair on it. bedroom was small and cozy. I was hoping for more based on the reviews. I was a bit disappointed.
