Great location

Appreciated the location because we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go easily. We wish there were a few other items in the condo but all in all everything was perfect.

Needs updating

Condo complex was beautiful. A lot of rules but that’s pretty much All of Marco Island. Condo was clean but in need of updating. Cabinet doors didn’t close properly. Kitchen utensils were sparse. Furniture needs updating. If you like Marco Island it’s a great location and we had an excellent vacation.

Not acceptable.

This unit was not trendy or comfortable. I would not recommend renting this unit. It was very outdated and not well equipped. The only positive is that the location was very good. Horizon Rentals has lots of units in the complex, but do not rent his one.

Marco surprise

The condo was just like the website and more! Marco Island was much better than we thought it would be. Such beauty on the Island and had terrific weather.

We liked the property. The unit was dated, but pleasant. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s and have never been to one before that just needed a deep clean. Cupboard shelves were dirty, the deck floor was stained (after calling management who sent someone who thought it was stained so didn’t clean it, I mopped it myself & all stains came off. ) The slates in the closet doors were sticky with dust. Not a great experience.

FUN IN THE SUN

Stayed at Angler's Cove. Older complex but very nice property. Enjoyed beautiful swimming pools, large hot tubs, and Dolfin Restaurant and bar on property. Walking distance to Old Marco for delicious lunches. The condo had everything we needed plus extras like beach chairs. Enjoyed balcony to have morning coffee. We love to walk and location has so many attractions close by. Horizon Rentals great to work with. We will return for another fabulous week.

Angler's Cove

Simple and just what we needed to enjoy Marco Island and be with the family over the holiday. Amazing restaurant on the grounds. Pool and laundry and a lot of room for my boys to fish the sea wall made for a great time had by all. It is located conveniently to many fishing charters, restaurants and of course amazing beaches. Perfect location.

Nice property with a good location

Anglers Cove is a nice property with a good location. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this unit again. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need. We appreciated the items that were there for the beach i.e. beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, noodles for the pool. The mattress seemed newer but, like the previous review said, they are hard. Be sure to look for some of the unique burrowing owls in the neighborhood! Their underground nests will have rope around the area with a little wooden T that they use for a perch. The activity we enjoyed the most was taking the Hemingway Water Shuttle to Keewaydin Island for the day and at $22pp each way a very good deal. We had dolphins follow us both ways and saw manatees in the harbor.

Anglers Cove all you need

Basic accommodations but good enough… Laundry available… The horizon parking pass allows you to park at the horizon office and walk to the beach, If you check in on a weekend make sure you know how they check in process works… How do you enter a code in the box at the office address after 4 PM and check in day… And the office is closed Saturdays and Sundays… However there is a 24 hour phone number and someone was answering the email questions all weekend and she was great and it was Peggy :-) The beds were hard and the pillows were hard-so next time I’ll just go to Walmart and buy a foam mattress cover and maybe round pillow/S... Anything else I needed was available at the dollar tree or Walmart :-) The famous Snook Inn is just down the road… You can even walk there or you can walk to the Old Marco pub, cJ’s, Merrick‘s seafood… oh ya! And The Dolphin Tiki bar is on the property and amazing food! And a bunch of other places are walkable too like Marco Brewery, The Sand Bar, Speakeasy & more...Uber is also on the island… thank you Peggy for making my stay wonderful :-)
