Some aspects are great and others are awful

The hotel is defo not 5star. It looks grand from the outside. The pool may give the look of a 5 star but it most certainly is not. I would not go back at all but feel bad for the staff who clearly work so hard and are being let down by aspects of the hotel that they have no control over like the food and the air conditioning.

Honeymoon

Really beautiful and clean hotel! Loved the food and people are very helpful at the hotel. It is worth visiting it, I would love to visit again! The only thing is that the wifi is slow.

Well worth a visit

Great hotel with good customer service, food was of a good standard although if staying for a week could be a little repetitive. We would visit again and would recommend to others.

Fantastic Stay at Hotel Kenzi Menara Palace

We stayed for 7 nights at this Hotel and it exceeded our expectation in all ways. We were given a family suite that was quite spacious, had a super king size bed and two single beds. It had all amenities except a iron and a board. That's why I had given in 4 star. It was cleaned every day by house keeping staff. The staff were friendly although a few were not able to converse in English. If you know little French, it would be helpful to get a conversation. The checking in was smooth without a problem and we were given a warm welcome. Passport details were taken but we were not kept waiting. Wifi was great and our two kids were able to access you tube videos simultaneously. The music and the movies of the entertainment section wasn't working and so we were not able to get much out of the two flat screen TV's provided to us as there was no English Channel. We found the lunch and dinner buffet to be costlier. If we had explored the full board and inclusive options instead of breakfast only, we could have spent less on the food. There was a cinema theatre and a mall just behind the hotel (10 minutes walk) and it was convenient to get milk and other items for the kids from the super market. Pounds in cash can be converted Moroccan Dirhams at the hotel. We used the hotel to book transport to go around Marrakech for excursions and with a bit of bargain you may get a good deal.

Family Trip

Hotel was great. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. I have to give a big shout to the Head Concierge, Charif and also Receptionist Fatima. Both were amazing. Speak clear English and were very very helpful. Also Mr Rene. The Director Generale. He was hands on. I saw him at 6:30 am in the restaurant in his shirt putting out glasses and dishes. He his very very hands on and doesn't wait for anyone to do a job. He gets on with it. Overall. I was very happy with the hotel and the staff. One last comment. Please heat up the water in the swimming pool. It's a leap of faith the first time you jump in!!!

Perfect retreat away from the mania of the medina

This hotel is fantastic, rooms are exceptional, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Most of the staff are brilliant. It's well worth going all inclusive here as it is a short taxi drive into the centre which you would need to take for every meal at a coat of approx 70dirhams and no other restaurants locally only those in other hotels. The food choice is excellent there are three restaurants a moroccan which has live music every evening the menu changes every Monday an Italian a la carte for which the menu is always the same and a buffet which changes options daily. The buffet is out of this world you couldn't ask for more there is a wide range of options at every meal. The only improvement they could make would be motivating the pool bar staff during the busy periods we did find there would be a long queue at times and the manager would just sit there watching rather than helping behind the bar and the waiters would not assist in making drinks they would just stand waiting for the kitchen to bring out meals. Overall a fantastic holiday in a lovely hotel. Readers may be pleased to hear another pool has just been built which is heated, so if you are travelling in the cooler months you will now be able to have a swim without freezing! There is also a small indoor pool within the spa. My top tip would be to book a ground floor pool facing room on the east side of the hotel, you will then have a garden area little overlooked which catches the sun all day. This is our second visit to this hotel and I can say, though we have now seen all we wish of marrakech (particularly the medina!) we would revisit this hotel if we ever take a weekend break as it guarantees sunshine, relaxation and reinvigoration.

Fabulous!

Enjoyed our time here tremendously - the hotel is wonderful, luxourious, well looked after and beautiful. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I thouroughly enjoyed our time here as did my family and look forward to returning

Not quite there

The good: large rooms; nice decor throughout the hotel; comfortable outdoor area with huge swimming pool; free mini-bus to the medina; tasty food in the Moroccan restaurant. The bad: incredibly noisy bedrooms, especially those with an interconnecting door - could hear all the neighbours' conversations and toilet habits; wildly expensive food and drinks - £5 for a tiny beer and £10 for a burger and chips (pricier than London!); convoluted and lengthy check-in process that involves signing an agreement to allow the hotel to 'block' $200 on your credit card.

family getaway

Hotel was very nice,only the food let it down, On the web site there was more choose of food, the breakfast was always cold, and when we did look at eating in the evening, it was a cold buffet. Also the tea and coffee in the room, you had to pay for the teas and coffee, I have never had to pay for them before in all other hotel.
