Not exactly Hollywood Beach
The room was decorated as advertised. Some areas need upkeep such as the grouting in the shower (black and stained) Washroom upper walls cracking and damaged. Main windows and balcony railing windows dirty.The writeup indicates proximity to Hollywood beach. Upon arrival, the main part of Hollywood beach where we planned to stay is 45 minute walk or 7-10 minute drive. We planned on going without a car, but needed to rent one in order to take part in the activities as planned on Hollywood beach. this incurred an extra fee to rent a car and only parking available was valet (very expensive). All employees of the hotel were rude and appeared to be unhappy and not willing to help. Needed towels and toilet paper. when asking at the front desk, all requests are directed to the owner...would not lift a finger to help. Asking for directions to Hollywood Beach, they acted like they didn't understand the question to avoid any help. Would not stay here again. I knew about the resort fee when booking, but really the fee gets you nothing, and service is not reflective of the fees paid.
