1. There is only one very old elevator for the entire building and the average waiting time is 3–5 minutes. It’s extremely frustrating and probably the biggest downside. If you go downstairs and then realize you forgot something in your room, that’s at least 15 minutes of your time gone.
2. The Wi-Fi. During my 10-day stay, it worked for maybe 3 hours total.
3. The key cards constantly stop working. Every time you come back to the hotel, be prepared to go to the front desk and ask for a new key. (We didn’t keep the cards near our phones)
4. In the room the water from the sink was dirty and had a horrible smell. It was so bad that even people around you could smell it after you washed your hands. I had to wash my face and hands in the bathtub.
5. (This one is specific to the time of my stay): we arrived while there was active construction inside the hotel. Everything was covered in dust, there was construction debris and materials everywhere, the entire lobby was blocked off and there were no restrooms on the first floor. We were only able to see the hotel in normal condition during the last 2–3 days of our stay. Of course, no one warned us about this in advance.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the furniture was not old. Breakfast - 4/10.
