I stay at this property every year when I come up to watch baseball, have always had good experiences until this trip. The rudeness from the gentleman running the breakfast was something I have never experienced. I paid $350 for a two queen room I don’t appreciate staff telling me to “move” and “get out of the way” all because I was apparently using the waffle maker incorrectly.

The hotel is walkable to the baseball stadium which was a key selling point for us. The room was clean and the staff friendly and the price was right.

Hotel was very clean and staff was excellent. Came from Illinois for the state fair. I was told by staff over the phone that the fair was a 15 minute walk. It was a hour walk so We took a $9 Uber. Area was kind of seedy around hotel, but hotel was great for the price.

Great hotel, clean, close to downtown.

Very clean hotel. Breakfast had many good options. Hotel was secure with even the lobby doors needing key entry at night. So close the baseball field were already planning to come back to catch a game. Only about 10 minutes to downtown. I didn’t have interactions with the staff but my fiancé did and he was very impressed with their friendliness and customer service.

Buffet was terrible, the gentleman that was working on Wednesday was not a very nice person! Said they were making more coffee which never came!! The carpet in our room ,128, was no dirty that we had to leave our shoes on at all times. The curtains would not close all the way and asked front desk to see if they could be fixed, light right outside the window, so it stayed light all night. Housekeeping did not fix it.

Booking through Hotels.com has always been great, BUT this time not so much. My room was a King bed, which i ordered, but I didnt need the accessible bathroom. The bathroom was very smelly. Musty, awful smell. Not sure if that was due to the floor drain in there but it was a bad smell. My parents also booked a King bed, but got 2 queens. Not what they wanted or ordered. They went to ask about it and was told that because you used a third party (Hotels.com) you get what we have available. I have never heard of that. We might be booking directly thru the place we are staying at in the future if that is the case. So disappointing.!

Amazing Experience

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee West was very convenient. The location to downtown and amazing restaurants was convenient. The breakfast and onsite laundry was convenient. The parking was convenient. We stay in Milwaukee every year and this was one of the best places we have stayed so far.

It was a very nice stay. The bed was amazing. Our room was spacious and oh my the walk in shower was fabulous. Perhaps the property would consider a hand held shower head? That would make the bathroom a five star in my book.
