The property , the staff, and the amenities were all terrific. However, on two different occasions( one while I was in the airport en route to the property) Hampton Inn's records of the dates of my stay were completely wrong, and Expedia had to intervene on my behalf, otherwise I would have been out on the street! Something is not working in the communication between Hampton Inn and Expedia. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I am grateful to Expedia for advocating for me and making sure I was taken care of. If you do book this hotel, I would triple check to make sure they have the same dates that you requested on record. Otherwise, you could be in for some panicked moments.

Fire Code violation

Fridge wasn't functioning. Called desk who directed us to dial on back of unit. Still not working, called desk who said maintenance was gone for day, offered to call them in. I said I'd see if it was plugged in. Pulled unit out of cabinet and noted it was plugged into a 3-prong to 2-prong adapter which was plugged into a household extension cord (TV was also plugged into this extension cord). Straightened the adapter prongs and plugged the fridge in and it worked. See Photo I spoke to a Milwaukee fire fighter the next day who stated this was a fire hazard and a violation of the code. I asked for an adjustment on my bill and the desk did enter one, and explained I'd need to work with Hotels.com for the refund - I am in the process of doing so. I was surprised that a HILTON property was so cavalier about fire code. Note - there was one elevator in this hotel and there was a team of wheelchair rugby players staying there as well - could have been a HUGE disaster.
