I knew I wouldn’t be getting the Four Seasons when I booked here, but I’ve stayed in crack dens nicer than this. I’m not joking. I wish I could post pictures because it’s honestly remarkable that this place is still open and hasn’t been shut down by the city. But then again, this is Milwaukee.
Anyways, when I walked in the desk lady helped us out and and sent someone up with us to get in the room and get settled.
The stairway stunk of mold really bad, and somehow the room smelt worse. There was a (third) hole in our sink, the last guest must have thought the sink filled up much too quickly and needed another one to help drain it, right into the cabinet.
Secondly, the AC wasn’t sealed to the wall. The drywall around the window was rotting out.
Last but certainly not least, the mold! The bathroom was covered in black mold. It could have been missed by the multiple house keepers, who probably all have a rare type of color blindness that mixes the shade of brown and black.
The staff were very polite and friendly. Probably the only thing this property has going for it.
I left right after I saw the room.
To the jacka*** that owns this: I hope you drown in fines
To the staff: thank you for numbing the pain
To the reader: thank you for coming to my TED talk. Don’t book this place. This review is the best thing you’ll get out of it.
