"Ahhhh! That is all there is to say when you first step into this beautifully decorated ground floor 2 bedroom/ 2 bath gulf view condo. This owner has put some time and love into their condo and it is very fresh, clean, inviting, and comfortable. The condo sleeps 4 - 6 guests comfortably.

It has a King Bed in the very large Master Bedroom with an en-suite Master Bathroom with Shower/Tub Combo.  It offers a Flat Screen TV, and opens up to the private covered patio where you can sit and enjoy the warm summer breezes and colorful summer sunsets.

The Guest Bedroom offers a queen bed. a Flat Screen TV, and an en-suite Guest Bathroom with Shower.  

The Fully Stocked Kitchen comes complete with Beautiful Granite Countertops. There is a separate Dining Area and Breakfast Bar for your specially cooked meals or your quick grab-a-bite meals.

The Living Room offers a Queen Sleeper Sofa, Flat Screen TV and opens up to the Balcony where you can breathe in fresh air, while enjoying your morning sunrises and coffee.

The beach view was good! It was a super close walk to the beach so you can’t beat that. I personally love being on the low levels for easy access with groceries and luggage. However the cleanliness of the condo could be much better. I found myself cleaning a lot before totally unpacking, I had to Re wash bedding and towels because there was black hair on both. (Not sure if house keeping is actually washing sheets) floors could be cleaner (our feet would turn black without slippers on!) now I did request early check in so it very much could just be that. ***bathtub in master bathroom drain needs to be worked on/seen about. Every time we showered it would pool up! *** Overall if cleanliness was better I would give a full 5 stars. You can’t beat the location. the property manager is so nice! She was so helpful when checking in. Thanks for having us!

Overall Fantastic

Location, location, location!!! Walk out the door, cross the street, and you are on the beach! No packing the car or finding a parking spot. Grab your stuff and go. That part is awesome!! Now, this isn't a 5-star hotel built in the 2000's. The units are older. The parking is a little tight. The unit could use a little patchwork here and there. But overall, I would say 4 or 4.5 out of 5 stars. The unit is cute and well stocked. It is a 1-butt kitchen, as we like to say, so pick one person to cook and everyone else stay out! There were 4 of us and it was a little tight, but overall it wasn't bad. The pool was good for the kids. The unit has a bin right outside the front door with a couple of beach chairs, some pool noodles, and some beach toys (I think I saw a boogie board or two and life preserver or two as well). It was comfortable and worked for what we needed. The beds were comfortable and we loved the location. Right across the street is one of the best seafood restaurants around (Pampano Joe's). We watched lots of people walking to the beach from units blocks down the road. Believe me when I say this is an incredible location! You can't get closer to the beach without being ON the beach. A short walk down the scenic drive and you have a beach shop, a treat shop, a DQ (treats only, no food), a coffee house (Badass coffee rocks!!!!), a wine shop & boutique, and a take-out restaurant we didn't get a chance to try, but which has great reviews. Jump in the car and you can have your choice of just about anything you want within about 15 minutes. Monica, the manager, is great to work with! She is responsive and on top of it! When we arrived, there was a golf cart parked in our spot (parking is assigned per room). Let's say the cart was not there for long. If you text or call, she is quick to reply and a true gem of the emerald coast! Would definitely stay there again!

Good place, not a private beach

We really enjoyed our stay! The only problems we had, were the place was a little out dated but I could care less about that (my husband is a contractor and had a few issues lol). The only problem I had personally was that both bathrooms were attached to the bedrooms so, at night when our 2 yr old was sleeping in the pack n play in the master bedroom and our 2 boys were sleeping in other bedroom, if we had to use the bathroom we would have to enter one of the rooms and try not to wake the kids. Our main issue was that there was not a private beach. The condo is located right across from Pompeo Joe's Restaurant. The beach in front of the condo was considered a public beach, there was not a gate to go thru with a code like most condos that are that close to the beach. There was however a way to get to the beach thru the restaurants stairs and a path to the left of the restaurant that was covered in oyster shells that you had to walk on (bring flip flops if you go that way) but was convenient to pull our wagon thru. The other issue with not having a private access was there was not a place to wash your feet. There was however, a hose to use when you got across the street to the condo by the pool which worked very well. Other than those couple of issues, we had a really good time. The pool was great, the people in the condos near us were great, there were at least 3 restaurants within walking distance, an ice cream place and a beach store that we also walked to, it was a nice area.. Overall it was a good trip. We had fun even with the few quirks.

Proximity to the beach is amazing

The unit was clean. Kitchen comes fully equipped. There was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out. You are literally steps from beach and the unit comes with beach toys, an umbrella, chairs, etc. The pool is well maintained although the water temperature was a little warm.. Our only issue was the upstairs neighbors and the noise level; they sounded like elephants at all hours of the day and night. We will definitely look to stay here on future trips!

We come every year and stay at tradewinds but different condos, this one is as described, it’s down stairs so it’s easy for my 91 year old dad. It’s located across from pompano joes. I will definitely be back next year! The manager is great in communicating with me so I like that,

Perfect location

Excellent location for beach access and centrally located between all of the activities and shopping. The room was much smaller than expected and I’m glad it was only me and my husband and not our daughters too. That would be my only complaint.

We love staying at tradewinds, this was my first time using the rental company and I was not a fan. I have never had to pay a cleaning fee and then clean before I left but if you don’t mind that everything else was wonderful! The property manager is a rude woman though who accuses people of things they didn’t do and has so remorse

Great summer vacation location

Wanted to be close to the beach and it was right across the street from our condo. Easy to get to beach and back every day. Loved having a pool and back yard area for kids will do it again.

Overall great place to stay. It says 6 can sleep there but it’s kind of small for 6 adults. The parking is very limited. There is a public parking across the street but good luck finding a spot because it’s stays packed out. It’s a great location!! Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The beach is right across the street. It’s a good place to stay. I would recommend.

Good place and at a good rate

This place is a ggod place to stay at a decent price. The parking is good for most cars and trucks. Not so good for large trucks, but thats like most places a;long the gulf coast. The kitchen was useful, but could use some new pans. I would definitly stay there again but I will bring my earplags just in case the upstairs neighbors stay up too late.

Condo was perfect! Across from the beach and close to other amenities

The condo was very nice. Washer had broken before we got there but we were informed when repair man would be coming to fix it and the owners came to meet him and brought us some delicious cookies for our inconvenience. Beach Bums even offered to wash our clothes until the washer was fixed. The only issue we had was with the manager. She was not very friendly. Kept leaving a pair of socks on our patio chairs that did not belong to us. Left notes taped to our door. I think we upset her because we asked for an additional parking pass and didn’t ask Beach Bums for it. I do understand that she has a job to do but she could be a little friendlier. Otherwise we loved our stay and hope to stay again next year.
