The lodge had an amazing decor but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. We found several dead flies on the ground by the curtain and an insect was crawling on the bed when we first got into the room. The breakfast was mediocre.

Big Horn lodge had everything we needed for a short stay. There are limited amenities i.e. breakfast and laundry however these service are very nearby/walkable. Rooms were large enough and clean. The reception staff were lovely. Great location.

Wood/log vibes, dark and noisy.

Room was decorated in log furniture, with log or wooden walls, making the room very dark. Front wall was windows from floor to ceiling, however for privacy reasons the curtains remain closed. Building is dated, a lot of road and other noise. Heating and cooling was through a wall unit which failed in the middle of the first night, causing sleep disturbance. However, the response time for resolution was immediate and we had a new A/C unit within a couple hours of bringing it to their attention. Bathroom sink is older and seems to have lost its finish, making it never appear shiny. Smell was adequate. Front desk staff friendly and responded to phone right away. Note was at front desk when we were leaving that there would be considerable noise in the coming days (weeks?) for brush cutting, and they had a bowl of ear plugs for guests. I would not stay again due to the room darkness and noise.

This was an older facility but it seems to be well maintained.. it was perfect for my wife and i to wander through Arches and the local terrain.
