Our stay at la Quinta was for the most part okay. The room was spacious and clean but it does look like it’s outdated inside and out in the property. The air conditioner in our room was so noisy and outdated that we decided to turn it off at night so we could sleep. What we did not like was the reception staff, there’s also only one outdated small elevator and the chemical scent on the first floor was strong. Overall it’s okay including the breakfast.

The mattress and pillows smelled of stale perspiration. The cleaner did a good job in the room and the hotel is being up-graded. The workman who changed our curtains was friendly. Carpets were being replaced. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay elsewhere next time I am in Maob
