The Baymont by Wyndham Tehachapi is a nice hotel that is a hop, skip, and a jump from Highway 58. The room was conventional and featured an oversized table and virtually inoperative remote control. The breakfast was lacking basics. For example, the waffle maker didn't have a working timer. There was plain yogurt, no hot proteins, two juice options, and no bananas. No attendent was around to clean up or assist guests.

When I travel to No Cal, I like to stay at the Wyndham here. It’s right off Hwy 58, easy off, easy on. It’s clean and quiet, and the staff are always personable. A mile away from restaurants and shops in the downtown area.
