This is my favourite resort in Jamaica. I have been here 5 times; and I plan to go back. The staff are amazing, and the food is great. I love the parties here too.

We had a great time at Riu Reggae! Check In - We arrived early around 12pm and we given a room right away, even though check in was at 3pm. I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time, but it was an added bonus. We were also greeted with a cold rum punch which was delicious Room - The room was clean, quiet and cold. The staff cleaned our room every day and left fun towel shapes and notes on the bed. The fridge and mini bar was stocked every 2 days. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. We were on the ground floor and there were a couple nights where there was some noisy people in the hallway around 2am. We travel with a white noise maker so this was not a big deal for us. Bars - We loved all the bars. The staff were always pretty quick at getting you a drink. I didn't see any top shelf liquor (Bombay, Titos, Makers Mark, Jim Beam, Jose Cuervo, etc), but that doesn't really matter to us. The Red Stripe was delicious. Pro Tip - Bring a Yeti or reusable non glass container. Most bars serve drinks in a plastic cup which makes sense because you don't want broken glass with bare feet. Restaurants - We loved all the restaurants. The Italian was our favorite and Jolene was our favorite waitress. Jayson at the steakhouse was awesome too! You need to make reservations, so don't forget to do that the day before. The jerk chicken on the beach was amazing. Pool - We had a great time at all the pools. Bring sunscreen! I'm out of characters for the review

May 10, 2025 we stayed at the Riu Reggae property very clean. They’re always washing the floors and cleaning around amazing. The eating area was also very clean. The people were very nice friendly. The pool and ocean are very close in proximity. Their towel system isn’t the greatest You only get one towel they’re always running out, The pool and ocean very warm like 96 degrees I’m definitely going back. But bringing a beach towel of my own lol

The fact we were locked out our room and had to wait an hour for someone to fix the door and we were in a one bed room we paid for a 2 bed room just terrible but i tried to make the best of it

such a vibe, amazing staff!!! shout out winston, the entertainment team bubbles Bad Gyal Rih You name it!!!! everyone made the stay such a great experience. The love and kindness from the moment you step foot till you leave is unmatched!!

I enjoyed the property for the most part. There was a few things I was unhappy with such as not being able to get checked into mym room until after 3 PM & there is no room service. The only “food” available is near the lobby bar and it’s not even real food and is SO limited. They close all the restaurants and eating areas, besides the bar one, at 5 until 6:30 which was very annoying and it was almost impossible to even get reservations at the restaurants. The buffet food was really good at least. The pools open at 9 and close at 6 which is beyond crazy to me and locals in their canoes stay at the beach and just haggle people. Overall, it was an okay stay, but, for the price and the limited food options at certain times of day, and pool hours I won’t be back
