When booking we opted to pay at the property upon check in. However, they called us before our arrival and demanded payment in full to keep our reservation. The bed was uncomfortable. We were given 2 bath towels for a 2 night stay, when requested for 2 more clean towels they only allowed 1. Aside from that the rooms was nice, clean and quiet.

The property is situated in the prime location of Carmel; a short walking distance to central Carmel with shops, restaurants, and the beach within minutes of walk. However, it is disappointing that the room doesn’t have a microwave oven; we have stayed at many Best Western facilities and this is the only location without a microwave in the room. Breakfast options were limited, we only went to get some coffee at the breakfast room and went down a few blocks to have real breakfast instead. One nice ending is that the manager allowed us to park our vehicle for a couple of hours for lunch after we checked out.

Overall, it was an average stay. The room was nice and spacious, but the bathroom was quite small, and the water pressure was a bit weak. The pool wasn't usable during our visit. The location was convenient and close to everything. Nothing particularly stood out, but it was adequate for a short stay.
