The front desk gentleman was very nice. The fireplace was gas but did not work but I didn't call to have it serviced. The room only had lamps which left the room not properly lit. The high ceilings were nice and the bathroom was nice as well. The location was the best, the beach was across the street and Cannery Row was a 5 min walk.

The TV and Remove didnt work, staff wasnt helpful. Didnt feel welcomed, staff seemed like they didnt want to interact with with customers. Ran out of toilet paper, went to go get some and office was closed. Had to buy own toilet paper. Each time I passed by desk for help regarding anything or just walked but no one was there. You can tell place was not vacuumed in a very long time. You could tell that the room was rushed cleaned. Room made us feel itchy, got a rash, and triggered allergies to the point we had to check out 15 hours earlier.

Our stay was terrible ! Person at front desk was not a bit friendly he acted like we were bothering him when we were checking in , asked for extra coffe never did get it person acted like she did not understand. Office closed at 8pm could not get any help, was told to come back in the morning. PARKING was 15. A night which was not stated in my booking info. All in all I would never stay here again

The service was the worst , they did clean rooms or replace the towels or restock coffee in the room. The lobby was closed at 8:00 pm and didn't open in morning at 8:00 am . they have hidden parking fee . I will never recommend Cannery row Inn i would not to any one and they need new management . There is no management on duty between 8:00 pm to 8:00 am not good !!!!!!!

Our check in time was 3PM and when we checked in we were charged a parking fee even though it says free parking on the website. Then when we get to our room it is completely thrashed… no one told housekeeping we were arriving? Then we left for the day the next day and left the MAID SERVICE PLEASE sign outside the door and she never showed up… disappointing…

Not what I expected and completely disappointed.

I checked out within the hour of checking in. Got a bad feeling as soon as I got into the room. I expected a lovely little inn, but instead it looked more like a rent by the month place. It looked cute from the outside, but old and worn down on the inside. Right off the bat was the smell of marijuana. The a/c didn’t work, the fireplace didn’t work and sparked, the fridge was loud, the shower curtain rod was loose, there was no safe, the screen on the deck sliding door was hanging off. The person at the front desk was not at all surprised that I was checking out. I was extremely disappointed. He offered me a partial refund on nights two and three, but I should get it all back as I had to pay for another hotel!
