This is not a 8.8star property. Lil run down. Old furniture. Half the outlets didn't work. Folding chairs on the balcony. Odd smell in hallway. Best part was the bathroom was nice. If it wasn't for the location i would have given 1 start

I wasn’t warned of parking cost. I received a handicapped room but didn’t ask for it. The shower in the room was broken so it sprayed water at my belly the whole time. That needs fixing. 3 out of the 4 staff were great. One, not so much.

The hotel was in a good location and seemed clean but it was pretty run down and could use some TLC. We didn’t have coffee in our room and the lobby was supposed to open at 8am where they had a nice coffee machine but I was there a couple minutes after 8 and it still wasn’t open. Overall it did the trick for a descent place to stay for one night.

Wonderful Stay

I was delighted with my spacious and pretty room. I kept thinking someone must have had a lot of fun decorating it. There were real oil paintings on the wall and everything was spotless. It had everything I needed including a refrigerator and microwave, a balcony, and even a fireplace. There were plenty of electrical outlets to charge all of my devices and a tv with a variety of channels. I love that the floors were a clean attractive hard surface and not carpet that you can't trust in most hotels. The bathroom was pristine and modern.

We found the motel quite noisy from the road and other visitors. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. Monterrey was quiet and very pretty am glad we made the stop on our road trip
