This charming hotel was a perfect get away for our anniversary. It conveniently located to Carmel By the Sea and Pebble Beach. Staff was very friendly. The brunch provided is excellent. I really enjoyed dinner and drinks at Bud’s.

Classic older hotel in great location with excellent service. Great buffet breakfast and wine in afternoon with cookies at night. Short walk to beach and downtown with free shuttle if needed. A number of stairs to room. Not a big deal but could be with some walking issues.

Hands-down, this is one of the most lovely experiences we have ever had at a hotel. It is historic and quaint, and the attention to detail is unparalleled. The breakfast is literally the best we have ever had anywhere in the world and that is not an exaggeration! Walking distance to town, but if you don’t feel like walking, there is free cab service included with the hotel love love love LaPlaya will definitely return if we can.
