Beautiful property, walkable, majority of staff were excellent, valet & bell staff were top notch! Bar service in the lounge was below par- tried to deter many patrons from ordering food as she was “short staffed” and it was a long wait- ordered and food was there in 15 minutes.

My stay was most pleasant, I would definitely visit again but select an ocean view as opposed to an inland view which faces the street and can be quite noisy.

Large hotel with spacious rooms. A little dated but this brings charm, sophistication & uniqueness. Excellent staff and service. Provided complimentary shuttle to a trip we booked. Schooners restaurant on site, excellent quality food and ambience. Lovely roof top sun area.

Great for Anniversary Get-Aways

Originally came here a few years back for a company kick-off. We came here for a delayed anniversary weekend. The views and rooms are amazing and the hotel is right in the middle of everything great about Monterey. Great restaurants on every block, the ocean within reach, etc. Hard not to love this hotel.
