Check in was easy, but would have been nice if she would have given us more information. For example, the lobby entrance is the 2nd floor. She told me to take the elevator down. Would have been nice to have been told to drive down to the 1st floor garage which has access to our room. Room was nice, very accommodating space. Beautiful setup including a couch area to view the bay. Disadvantage....Ice and water machine were on the North side of the buildings...we were closer to the South side, which made it a walk and made us opt for the water in the room at $9 each. Fireplace patio was private to guests only with lots of patios for all. Lobby had a fireplace with a lot of sitting room to play games, watch the ocean or relax. Very welcoming. We didn't use the pool or spa, but it was very clean. The sauna and cold plung were an additional charge. The best part to me was the almost private beach and easy access from the hotel! I love that. Would have liked to have seen beach towels away, but we didn't ask for any either. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing views! Right on the beach. We’re coming back to take advantage of the STEAM ROOM! And the Spa. Outside exercise is great. Did not try dining yet. Awesome getaway! Worth the $$.

Very pleased with the staff and their professionalism. When we arrived we were told that the room we booked was no longer available and there had been a mix up. Front desk staff was extremely apologetic, helpful, and professional. Staff provided a meal credit for our troubles. Property was well kept, room was cozy.

For a supposedly luxury hotel resort, this was awful. We were first given a room with a malfunctioning heater (it was a cool December evening, and we had a five year old with us) and significant ambient noise upstairs (from the public lounge and bar). We were then moved to two separate adjacent similar rooms with similar noise issues, including a very loud heater. Finally we were moved to a fourth room not having an ocean view (contrary to what we had reserved, staff offered a discount at this point). This seemed acceptable, but when we retuned after dinner the heater was malfunctioning here as well. After waiting a while for a repair, we were told that this is the only room left on the property. We just gave up and drove half an hour in the middle of the night with a 5 year old to sleep in the nearest two star Best Western with a vacancy. Even without all of these problems, the whole property is not appealing - it seemed like a renovated motel more than a lixury hotel, and seemed worn out in a number of places. I will mention that the beach access and ocean views from the lobby are very nice, and staff was helpful while, ultimately unsuccessful,with retrieving an item we left behind. However, I would definitely not recommend a stay here unless you value beachfront above all else and don’t care much about anything else.
